Udupi, Jan 8: The Rs 37-lac project for the reconstruction of the Mallar-Kombagudde bridge near Kaup began today with the laying of the cornerstone on Monday, January 8.
Kaup MLA Lalaji R Mendon, taluk panchayat members Jagadish Acharya, Arun Shetty and others, Mallar gram panchayat president Satish Shetty, former panchayat president Mohammed Sadiq, public works department engineer Suresh Shetty and others were present on the occasion.
