Campaigning ends in Delhi


New Delhi, Feb 5 (IANS): The high-decibel campaign from various political parties for Feb 7 Delhi assembly polls ended 5 p.m. Thursday.

The three main parties -- the AAP, the BJP,and the Congress -- campaigned aggressively to woo the voters for the Saturday battle.

The chief ministerial candidates from the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party interacted with voters on the last day.

While AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal held a foot march in New Delhi constituency, BJP's Kiran Bedi also held one in Krishna Nagar in east Delhi.

Congress's campaign committee chief Ajay Maken and party's vice president Rahul Gandhi held a road show in the capital.

The results for 70-assembly seats will be declared Feb 10.
