Mangalore, Jan 11: At the intercollegiate Canfest 07 organized by Canara College here on Wednesday, St Joseph’s College Bangalore won the overall championship leaving St Aloysius College to the runners up position.
During the valedictory held here Ammebal B Kamath a publisher and an alumnus of the college gave away the prizes.
Organized by the Commerce Department of the college, the fest was participated by students from around 10 colleges from DK, Udupi, Bangalore, Mysore and Belgaum.
The title ‘Pulsar of Canfest’ was won by Varun of SDM College. Principal of the college Prof Nagaraj Javali was present on the occasion.
