Karkala, Jan 11: The grand annual feast of St Lawrence Shrine Attur has been scheduled on January 23, 24 and 25, 2007. The festivities commonly named as ‘Attur Fest’ comprises of several Masses.
Several masses have been organized on all the three days, the solemn mass in Kannada on Jan 23 will be celebrated by retired Arch Bishop of Bangalore Dr Ignatius Pinto.
Solemn masses on Jan 23 and 24 will be celebrated by Bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza.
The novenas for a period of nine days will commence from Jan 14 and arrangement for making confessions has also been made in Attur.
