Dubai, Jan 11: New Zealand's Billy Bowden has been chosen to umpire in India's four ODIs against the West Indies starting on January 21 at Nagpur while Aussie Simon Taufel will officiate in the four matches against Sri Lanka in February.
Bowden and Taufel will stand along with an umpire appointed by the BCCI, ICC said in a statement today.
Alan Hurst will be the Match Referee in all the eight matches.
The ICC also announced match referee and umpires for the upcoming Test and ODI series taking place in South Africa, New Zealand and the West Indies.
A three-Test and five-ODI series between South Africa and Pakistan begins tomorrow in Centurion.
The three ODIs in New Zealand between the Black Caps and Australia for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy will be overseen by Mike Procter. Aleem Dar will stand in all those games, along with an umpire appointed by the home country.
Prior to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 in the West Indies in March-April, there will be a short tri-series to be held in Antigua between Bangladesh, Canada and Bermuda, who will all be participating in the CWC.
Rudi Koertzen will stand in all three of those ODIs along with a locally appointed umpire.
