Mangalore, Jan 12: Mulki Rafiq, the prime accused in the Sukhanand Shetty murder case has now once again been sent to police custody on Thursday January 11.

Mulki Rafiq, who was arrested at the end of December, 2006 had been sent to Mysore jail after initial investigation.  But the Panambur police inspector Gangi Reddy who is investigating the Polali Anantu murder case in which too Mulki Rafiq is said to be the prime accused had asked the court for the police custody of the latter.

Accordingly Gangi Reddy has now brought Mulki Rafiq from Mysore jail for the investigation of Polali Anantu murder case.  Polali Anantu, a prime accused in the M D Jabbar murder case had been hacked to death near Polali gate almost two years ago.  Mulki Rafiq is said to be the mastermind in the murder.
