Mangalore, Jan 13: A half-day workshop on 'Tourism Development in Coastal Karnataka' was inaugurated in Meeting Hall at the 'KCCI Exim Facilitation Centre' here on Saturday January 13 morning.
The workshop was inaugurated by deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao on Saturday morning. MLA N Yogish Bhat, Suratkal MLA J Krishna Palemar and MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik were the guest of honour on the occasion.
KCCI president John Prasad Menezes, tourism sub-committee of KCCI president Arjun L A Pinto Prabhu were also present on the occasion.
Eminent speakers like Dr C R Kamath, director of Corp bank, Jesper Hourgaard of Sarena Spa Pvt Ltd, Eulalia M D'Souza of Lia Travels and Tours, J R Lobo, deputy project director of KUDCEMP, M R Vasudeva, director of Mangalore airport, William Pais, journalist, John Clarke, Dr L C Soans and Ranjit Shankar, general manager of Hotel Taj Manjarun shared their views about the topic with the gathering.
