MCC Media Release

Doha, Jan 14: ‘Kalashree’ Claud D’Souza, accompanied by his troupe, consisting of leading female Konkani singer Anitha Samson and the famous comedy duo ‘Dolla & Kulla’ arrived in Doha from Mangalore on 13th January, 2007.  They are here to take part in the ‘Claud Nite’,  which will take place on Friday, 19th January 2007 at 5 p.m at the Gulf Cinema.  The show has been organised by the Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Doha.

Konkani music lovers in Qatar can look forward to beginning the year 2007 in a most exciting manner. Claud and his talented troupe, along with another veteran Konkani singer, “the man with the golden voice”, Rony D’Cunha, who will join them from Kuwait along with local artistes are all set to enthral them with their feet tapping music and rib tickling comedy.  
 
Scintillating music will be provided by leading local Mangalorean musicians Lancelot D’Souza, Rupesh D’Souza, Nestor Pereira and Ray D’Souza who will be accompanied by other local musicians.


CGS Taccode

The icing on the cake will be the presence of CGS Taccode on stage who will be compeering the show and will add life and spice with his Fugetteo. The audience can also look forward to dazzling dances, tableaux and visuals that will surely add glamour to the show.

Tickets are available with MCC committee members and at: Maharaja Restaurant, Swagath Restaurant, Athithi Restaurant, United Technical Trading (old Oriental Arts- now moved to Opp. Popeye Restaurant).
