Mangalore, Jan 16: The graduation ceremony of Dr MV Shetty Memorial Trust Colleges was held at T V Raman Pai Convention Hall here on Monday January 15.
Speaking on the occasion, minister for medical education Dr V S Acharya urged the students to develop qualities of professionalism and said the state produces the highest number of health care professionals in the country.
He stressed on the need to follow ethics while practicing medicine and said that health practitioners are the most respected professionals in the country.
The programme was presided over by Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust founder secretary Dr M Ram Gopal Shetty.
The students were presented with graduation certificates from the principals of different colleges under M V Shetty Trust.
Among those present were trustee Dr Ranjit Shetty, MLA N Yogish Bhat and others.
