Belgium, Feb 15 (Emirates 247) : A mother in Belgium allegedly burnt her three young daughters and rang their dad forcing him to listen to their screams as they died.

The children were aged six, four and two. The 35-year-old woman was reportedly in a custody battle with their father, reported ‘DailyMail’.

She allegedly locked the kids up in a shed and set it ablaze. She then called their dad, who works in construction, on his mobile phone and reportedly told him that she can hear the kids cry but will not do anything to save them. She added that he could hurry but it would be too late, the report added.

Shocked, the man called his sister who stays close by and asked her to check on the kids. But all that she saw was charred bodies of the children.

She allegedly took the extreme step after receiving a letter from her husband’s lawyer demanding custody of the kids.

The woman’s 9-year-old eldest daughter, from another marriage, escaped the ordeal as she was in school.

The heart-broken father says, he still can’t believe what happened.
