Delhi government not to sack contractual employees


New Delhi, Feb 17 (IANS): The Arvind Kejriwal-led government has decided not to terminate the services of contractual employees working for the Delhi government till further instructions, an official said Tuesday.

"This is the first step towards regularisation of contractual employees as promised by AAP (Aam Aadmi Party)," a Delhi government minister told IANS.

There are around one lakh contractual employees working in various departments of the government.
