Warm Wednesday in Delhi, sunny Thursday likely


New Delhi, Feb 18 (IANS): The national capital experienced a sunny, warm Wednesday as the maximum temperature settled five notches above the season's average at 28.9 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is in store Thursday, the Met office said.

"There will be shallow fog early morning tomorrow (Thursday) but the day will be clear and sunny," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 14 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday morning was pleasant and the minimum temperature settled at 14.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 96 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled four degrees above the season's average at 27.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 16.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average.
