Dutch runner Herzog banned for doping


Amsterdam, Feb 19 (IANS): Dutch cross-country female runner Adrienne Herzog has been banned for two years after testing positive in the US last year.

The Dutch Athletics Federation provisionally banned the two-time bronze medallist at the European cross-country championships in May last year following a positive test March 16, reports Xinhua.

The Dutch federation Wednesday didn't elaborate on what form of doping she was found to have used.
