Mangalore, Jan 20: The second successive Mangalore Today Conclave was held in Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre here on Saturday January 20. This could be termed as a successful programme where prominent "GenNext" leaders of the city who have scaled greater heights in their chosen profession were present.
The 'who's who' of Mangalore who gathered in Dr TMA Pai International Convention shared their knowledge, experience with the distinguished crowd that was present. Their vision for a brighter tomorrow and a perfect future was all evident in their speeches.
Rohit Bhat, CEO and managing director of Robosoft Technologies Pvt Ltd, Udupi was conferred with the "Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award - 2007" for his distinguished accomplishments.
Earlier the Mangalore Today Coclave-2007 was inaugurated by Dr N K Thingalaya, member of the Planning Commission of India. Ananthakrishna, chairman of Karnataka Bank presided over the programme.
Another successful entrepreneur and great visionary Sudhir Ghate, chairman of Magnum Intergrafiks Pvt Ltd delivered the keynote address. Speakers of the day Vishal Hegde, A Srinivas Rao, Giselle D Mehta, Binay R Shetty, Sudhir M Pai, Dr U S Krishna Nayak, Sanjith Naik and Mukund Kamath, were present on the dais.
