Builders invited for making affordable houses in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad, Feb 19 (IANS): The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has invited applications from builders inclined to construct affordable houses for the common man.

GDA vice chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav said the government has eased many procedural complications for building the Samajwadi Affordable Houses.

He said the state government has waived off stamp duty on the purchase of land for the purpose.

Land measuring five to 100 acres could be bought for the houses.

The prices of such affordable houses would range from Rs.15 lakh to Rs.30 lakh.

No development tax and no land use conversion charges would be levied on builders who come forward to build affordable houses.
