Cuttack, Jan 22: An activist of the Kalinga Sena, a regional political outfit protesting against the BCCI, hit Greg Chappell on the back outside the Bhubaneshwar airport.
The outfit was protesting against there being no Orissa player in the Indian team.
The Orissa police meanwhile have denied that there is any specific threat to the India-West Indies match.
The statement comes two days before the next cricket one-dayer in Cuttack.
The officer in-charge however, told NDTV that security is anyway high because of a general alert.
