Brussels, Feb 21 (IANS): European Council (EC) President Donald Tusk has said that the European Union (EU) was considering new measures over the situation in Ukraine.
Tusk said there had been "more than 300 violations" of the ceasefire since the second Minsk agreement took place Feb 15, Xinhua reported.
"We are clearly reaching a point when further diplomatic efforts will be fruitless unless credibly backed up by further action," he said.
Tusk added that he was "consulting EU leaders on the next steps".
He said he would travel to Kiev Sunday to find out more about the situation in the war-torn country.
