Moscow, Feb 21 (IANS/TASS): Militias of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in eastern Ukraine have announced a prisoner swap of its and Kiev's troops Saturday, according to the press centre of the DPR government.

It said the prisoner swap would take place in the Lugansk region. The all-for-all prisoner swap is one of the key points in the agreements signed in Belarus's capital Minsk for a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine between pro-Russian militias and Kiev's trrops.

The report did not say how many prisoners would be exchanged.

A package of measures to implement the Minsk accords includes a ceasefire in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions starting Feb 15, the pullback of heavy armaments and measures for a long-term political settlement of the situation in Ukraine.
