Document leak: Things to be clear after probe, says Pradhan


New Delhi, Feb 21 (IANS): Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Saturday said there would be more clarity about the petroleum ministry documents leak once the investigation into the matter is over.

"Police are doing an independent investigation into the case. Everything will be clear after the probe is over," Pradhan told Times Now TV channel.

Asked if he had prior knowledge about his ministry's documents being leaked, the minister said that all such information has been given to the competent authorities investigating the matter.

"We had some doubts, some issues...Everything has been conveyed to the competent agency. Let the investigation get completed once, everything will be clear after that," Pradhan said.

Asked about the alleged involvement of high ranking executives of big corporate houses, the minister said the investigation is on and everyone is equal in front of the law.

"Whoever they may be. Law will take its own course, everyone is equal in front of the law," Pradhan said.
