Karkala, Feb 23: A woman travelling in a Cruiser vehicle suffered critical injuries and lost her life, after the Cruiser vehicle in which she was seated turned turtle at Mala village in the taluk.
Kasturi Bai (45) from Hospet in Ballari district breathed her last in this accident.
The vehicle in question was carrying 11 pilgrims from Hospet. The van was carrying the pilgrims to Dharmasthala after visiting Horanadu in Chikmagalur district. Reportedly break of the vehicle failed when negotiating bends of Mulloor Ghat at Mala.
Other passengers in the vehicle were injured. They were admitted into a hospital here.
