Kerala school offers free education to bravery awardees

Kochi, Feb 23 (IANS): A leading private school in Kerala - The Choice School - has offered free education to the three winners of this year's President's National Bravery Awards from the state.

Choice Group chief Jose Thomas made this announcement Monday at a function held to honour the three students at the school.

All three, M.K. Aqil Mohammed (10), T.P. Mithun (14) and P. Anjith (14), hail from rural north Kerala.

The three were given cash awards and mementoes after an interactive session with the students of the school.

"This is an inspiration to our students and they should learn from these three gems as students should be responsible citizens. These three kids need more exposure," said Thomas.

The three kids were bowled over by the offer and are expected to take a final decision after they return home and discuss it with their parents.
