Man attempts suicide at Metro station


New Delhi, Feb 23 (IANS): In a bid to commit suicide, a 28-year-old man jumped on the Metro track from platform number two of Ashok Park metro station Monday afternoon, police said. The victim identified as Sunil Kumar was a resident of Karnal in Haryana.

Sunil received minor injuries on his leg and was rushed to Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital where doctors said he was out of danger.

Police is yet to confirm the reason behind the suicide attempt.
