30 bus passengers abducted in Afghanistan


Kabul, Feb 24 (IANS): Unidentified gunmen intercepted two buses in Afghanistan's Zabul province and abducted 30 people, taking them to an unknown location, an official said Tuesday.

"A group of unknown armed men stopped two buses in Shahjoi Monday afternoon and took 30 commuters to unknown locations," Xinhua quoted the official as saying.

An investigation has been launched to trace the location of the passengers.
