Islamabad, Feb 24 (IANS): At least one person was killed and seven injured in an explosion in Pakistan Tuesday.
Explosives planted on a bicycle on Mall Road in Chaman in Balochistan province detonated with a huge bang, Dawn reported.
The intensity of the blast destroyed four vehicles parked in the vicinity and also damaged more than a dozen shops.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the bombing.
The blast comes two days after an explosion in the same area killed a child and wounded nine others.
Chaman is a small town in the southwestern province of Balochistan and is one of the two main crossing points for supplies to American and NATO troops fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan.
