Warm Wednesday in Delhi, cloudy Thursday likely


New Delhi, Feb 25 (IANS): The national capital experienced a partly cloudy and warm Wednesday as the maximum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 28.1 degrees Celsius.

Similar weather is likely Thursday, the Met Office said.

Thursday will see partly cloudy skies and the afternoon will be warm, the India Meteorological Department said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 26 and 16 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Wednesday morning was warm as the minimum temperature settled seven notches above the season's average at 19 degrees Celsius.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 96 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature was three notches above the season's average at 28.6 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was recorded four notches above the season's average at 15.2 degrees Celsius.
