Udupi, Jan 30: A zonal-level inter-collegiate Science exhibition will be organized by Poornaprajna College for degree students at the college premises here on Friday February 2 and Saturday February 3.
Addressing a press meet here, college principal Prof Rajmohan informed that the exhibition will be inaugurated by Admar Math education council president Vibudheshateertha Swami while deputy commissioner V Ponnuraj will preside.
The chief guests for the inaugural ceremony will be Karnataka State Science Council honorary secretary Prof C D Patil, NITK, Suratkal director Dr S Sanchetti, University Grants Commission (UGC) deputy secretary Manju Singh and coordinator of the exhibition Prof S V Sankanura.
The exhibition will deal with various subjects like natural disaster management, nanotechnology, water conservation, waste management, computers, sources of energy, and biotechnology.
The valedictory will be held on February 3 in which district in-charge minister V S Acharya, MLA K Raghupati Bhat, Karnataka State Science Council h S Niranjana Aradhya and college managing board secretary G S Chandrashekar will be present.
The programme will be presided over by collegiate education joint director W Linda Christy.
