Swine flu toll in Odisha rises to four


Bhubaneswar, March 1 (IANS): The swine flu toll in Odisha rose to four on Sunday with a 34-year-old woman succumbing to H1N1 virus at a hospital here, an official said.

The woman, who hails from Puri district, was admitted to the hospital on February 27, said Kailash Dash, public health director.

She was put on ventilator since she was admitted to the hospital, he said.

The deceased used to stay with her husband in Balesore, where she got inflicted with the virus, said Dash.

Of 87 people tested, 13 have been tested positive for swine flu so far in the state, Dash said.
