Ashok Leyland logs 36 percent sales growth


Chennai, March 2 (IANS): City-based commercial vehicles major Ashok Leyland Ltd. closed February with 36 percent sales growth, an official statement said on Monday.

In the statement, Ashok Leyland said it sold 10,762 units last month up from 7,915 units sold in February 2014.

The company logged growth in the medium, heavy and light commercial vehicles segments.

The company said it sold 92,148 units this fiscal till February as compared to 79,056 units sold during April 2013-February 2014.
