Deeply pained by what's going on: Kejriwal

New Delhi, March 3 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said he was "deeply hurt and pained" by the ongoing tussle in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

"I am deeply hurt and pained by what is going on in the party. This is betrayal of trust that (the people of) Delhi reposed in us," Kejriwal tweeted, adding that he will not allow "people's trust to be broken".

"I refuse to be drawn in this ugly battle. Will concentrate only on Delhi's governance," he added.

While senior AAP leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan have questioned the party's "one person-centric" approach and criticised it in a joint letter leaked to the media, the party on Monday hinted at acting tough against the duo in the national executive meet on Wednesday.

AAP founding members Yadav and Bhushan, who have been raising the issue of "one man, one post" and the party becoming "person-centric", might be asked to step down from their posts in the political affairs committee or assume non-active roles, party sources said.
