Mangalore, Feb 1: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), DK Telecom District on Wednesday, January 31 released the Directory of DK Telecom District.
Chairman and Managing Director of Corporation Bank B Sambamurthy, who released the directory in the KCCI Hall said that the telecom industry is poised to play a vital role in enabling banks to achieve the goal of financial inclusion set by the Union Finance Ministry.
BSNL has enabled the modern banks to wear the mantle of technology-oriented services including core banking solution.
T N Sudheendra Kumar, principal general manager, BSNL, Mangalore was the guest of honour.
John Prasad Menezes, president of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry presided over the function.
