Mangalore, Feb 1: The students of St Gerosa English Higher Primary School here have participated and brought laurels to the school in the international Chintana Science Exam.

A press release from the school stated that every year students take active participation in various competitions and come out with flying colours. However in the current scholastic year students achieved greater heights and brought laurels to school with their outstanding performance in the science exhibition.

Jemimah Jane Joseph, a class fourth student represented the school at national-level while Anjana S Hegde of class IV and A Shrinidhi a VII standard student have participated at the state-level.

Students have walked a step ahead by taking part in the state level composition and letter writing competition conducted by Karnataka Shri Pragathipara Yojane Seva Samsthe ® Mandya.

Nelvita Noronha, a class VII student has won first rank in the state-level, Jennifer Kavya D’Souza, of class IV in district-level.

Several other students have participated at the district and taluk level competitions as well and won honour for the school.
