Foreign affairs expert Ninan Koshy dead


Thiruvananthapuram, March 4 (IANS): Ninan Koshy, an expert on foreign affairs and law who lost the 1999 Lok Sabha election to state Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala, died on Wednesday morning, family sources said. He was 81.

The former college professor died at a private hospital. He was known for his mild mannered behaviour besides being a popular face on TV channels here.

He was fielded as a Left supported independent candidate from the Mavelikera constituency in 1999, but lost to Congress leader Chennithala.
