Mangalore, Feb 2: A day-long workshop on "Legal Awareness and Technology" for forest department staff was inaugurated on Friday February 2 morning. The workshop is being organized at State Government Employees' Association hall here.
The workshop was inaugurated by A K Singh, chief conservator of forests and CEO, Karnataka Forest Development Corporation. Forest conservator of Mangalore division T V Mohandas presided over the inaugural function. Deputy conservator Antia Arekal was the chief guest on the occasion.
S P Kandagal, S Venkatramana Swami, V Meera Moidin, Raj Gopal Shetty and Gabriel Veigas are the resource persons for the workshop.
