Mangalore, Feb 3: Bangalore-based entrepreneur Ronald Colaco was honoured by chief minister H D Kumaraswamy recently for his contribution to the community as well as to society at large. Ronald Colaco is also the president of Karnataka Christian Federation and has been involved in many social projects too.

The felicitation programme was held at Birur in Chikmagalur district during the huge rally of Self Help Groups and Stri Shakti groups. The rally which was attended by more than 25,000 women was organized by Chikmagalur district cooperative bank under the leadership of bank president and Birur MLA S L Dharmegowda.

Speaking on the occasion Dharmegowda lauded the efforts of Ronald Colaco in supporting and encouraging various activities.

State social welfare minister Balchandra Jarakiholi, SCDCC bank president Rajendra Kumar, ZP president Belli Prakash and others were also present on the occasion.
