Mangalore, Feb 3: The Kavoor police who have been investigating the suicide of two unidentified persons at Shantinagar on January 25 said to have now identified the duo.
The reports said that the man and woman who ended their life were lovers and hailed from Puttur. They have been identified Anni alias Sundar and Yashodha, residents of Kudmar near Belandur in Puttur. They were neighbours.
Sundar alias Anni was a contractor by profession. He and Yashodha had gone missing a few days ago. After going through the photos and news published in various newspapers, Anni's relatives came to Kavoor station and established the identity of deceased.
