Mangalore, Feb 4: Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy was ‘Live’ in the city on Saturday, February 3 in the NGO Hall.
Over 300 elected representatives of Mangalore taluk, comprising members of Zilla Panchayats and Taluk Panchayats took part in the video-conferencing programme with the CM accompanied by Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj C M Udasi, minister for Co-operation G T Deva Gowda, minister for Kannada and Culture H S Mahadeva Prasad and the principal secretaries of the department concerned.
Samudayadondige Samvada, the live phone-in video conference was held from Mysore to discuss progress and views on the Panchayat Raj system.
However, the DK group could not communicate with the CM as his phone line was busy throughout the programme. This disappointed the members who expressed that separate video conferences would have been better for each district.
