Dombivli , Feb 5: It was a feast with difference. The parishioners of the Infant Jesus Church of Dombivli celebrated the feast of their patron, Infant Jesus on Sunday 4th February 2007 in a unique way. Following the feast mass, nearly thousand parishioners assembled in the church campus and observed the community fellowship day from 10 AM to 4 PM with cultural activities, sports, housie, raffle-draw and lunch.
The highlight of the programme was the enactment of the life the Apostles. Each of the 12 Zones were assigned one Apostle. The members of the Zone were required to find out the details of the life and achievements of each of the Apostles. The Apostle was to be represented by one of the members from each Zone.
The entire exercise brought out the best of the team spirit. The members of each Zone marched behind the Apostle with banners and slogans.
