'Saddened' at summons to Manmohan Singh: Kapil Sibal

New Delhi, March 11 (IANS): Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Wednesday said that he was "saddened" at former prime minister Manmohan Singh being summoned by court in the coal block allocation case.

"I don't think there would be any person in the country who thinks that Manmohan Singh ji could do anything wrong," he told reporters.

I am personally saddened that summons were issued to him, he said.

On being asked whether it was some political vendetta, he said he does not want to accuse anybody.
