Motorsports: National Rally Championship from May


Chennai, March 12 (IANS): The 2015 FMSCI Indian Rally Championship season will kick-off with the first of the six rounds to be held in Goa from May 29 to 31, as per the calendar released by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) here.

Goa, along with Kerala, return to the championship after several years while Chikmagalur will host the concluding rounds of the IRC and also the FIA Asia Cup, in December, FMSCI said on Wednesday.

The calendar is:

Round 1: 29-31 May, Goa (Gravel surface). Round 2: 12-14 June, Nashik (Tarmac). Round 3: 3-5 July, Coimbatore (Gravel). Round 4: 2-4 October, Kerala. Round 5: 20-22 November, Bengaluru (Gravel). Round 6: 11-13 December, Chikmagalur (Gravel).
