Mangalore, Feb 9: The district unit of state Samajwadi Party has extended its support to the state-wide bandh to be held on Monday February 12. The bandh has been called to protest against the final verdict on the Cauvery water dispute.

Speaking to press persons here on Thursday February 8, partyt district general secretary S P Changappa emphasised on the government's responsibility in urging the union government to look in to the verdict given by the Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal recently.

He also urged all organisations and members of the public participating in the bandh to maintaiin peace and order on the day of the protest.
