Modi heads for home after three-nation tour


Colombo, March 14 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday evening left the Sri Lankan capital for home, completing a five-day tour of three Indian Ocean island nations.

Modi was seen off at Colombo airport by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Modi was in Sri Lanka on a two-day tour, in the first visit by an Indian prime minister in 28 years.He also visited Mauritius and Seychelles in his March 10-14 tour.
