Speeding car runs over Indian woman in Sharjah

Sharjah, March 17 (IANS): An Indian woman was killed after being run over by a speeding car in the emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, a media report said on Tuesday.

The police said the accident took place when the woman, 38, was crossing the road from an unauthorised area on Al Khan road on Monday evening, The Gulf Today reported.

Ambulances, patrols and traffic experts reached the site where the woman was found already dead.
