Proteas-Lanka match restarts after short hold-up


Sydney, March 18 (IANS): The cricket World Cup quarter-final between Sri Lanka and South Afica on Wednesday resumed after the short hold-up because of rain without any reduction in the number of overs at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

Sri Lanka were 127/9 in 36.2 overs when rain halted play. Dushmantha Chameera (0) and Lasith Malinga (0) were at the crease.
