Man kills wife, surrenders at police station


New Delhi, March 18 (IANS): Angered by his wife's nagging, a 28-year-old man killed her and later surrendered before the police on Wednesday morning, police said.

Laxman Gupta was arrested after he approached East Delhi's Khajuri Khas police station and confessed that he had killed his wife two days ago on Monday night.

Following his statement, the body of Gupta's wife, Suman Gupta, 24, was recovered from his residence in Prem Garden in West Karawal Nagar area. Police have sent the body for post-mortem examination.

Gupta said that he killed his wife after a heated argument between them over some issue on Monday night.
