Mangalore, Feb 13: Fatima ward, one of the 17 wards of St Joseph’s Church, Bajpe here celebrated its Ward Day on Sunday February 11.
The feast Mass was held at 7.30 am followed by celebrations at the house of gurkar Walter Felix D’Souza at 12 noon.
The chief guests on the occasion were Bajpe assistant priest Fr Austin Fernandes, Bethany Sisters superior Sr Christella, vice-president Sylvester D’Souza and secretary David D’Souza.
There was a cultural programme by children and drama performance by the elderly.
Around 200 people were present to witness the programme. Jason D’Souza compered while Caroline D’Souza welcomed the gathering.
The gurkars of various wards were also present.
