Mumbai, Feb 12: A Konkani play by Prince Jacob was staged at Mira Road Church campus here in aid of getting the church painted. Prince Jacob with his troop gave a memorable message to the people. The nearly two thousand crowd in attendance was taken away by the performance.

Fr Rudolf V D' Souza was the chief guest. The main sponsor for the play Gilbert Baptist honoured Prince Jacob for his efforts in preserving Goan Konkani culture through plays.  Fr Elias, Deepak, Fr Walter and Fr Lancy Mendonca were present at the dais.

Fr Rudolf in his speech thanked Francis Araujo for his tireless efforts in making the play a huge success. Francis Araujo on his part thanked the sponsors, Citizen Credit Co-op Bank Ltd, Model Bank Limited, St. Joseph School Mira Road and other sponsors who contributed towards the play.

People from Bhayandar, Dahisar and Borivli also had come to enjoy this entertaining evening.
