Rain stops India-Bangladesh quarter-final


Melbourne, March 19 (IANS): Rain has halted play in the India-Bangladesh cricket World Cup quarter-final being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here on Thursday.

India were batting at 186/3 in 38.1 overs with Rohit Sharma (83 not out) and Suresh Raina (38 not out) at the crease when the skies opened up.

The defending champions earlier lost opener Shikhar Dhawan (30), Virat Kohli (3) and Ajinkya Rahane (19).
