Mangalore, Feb 13: The Bar Association will conduct a state-level cultural competition for advocates as part of its 125th year celebrations from Friday February 16 to Sunday February 18 at SDM College here.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday February 13, Association president K Monappa Bhandary informed that the event will include several competitions for men and women advocates from all over the state.

More than 30 cricket teams will take part in the event and over 15 teams are expected to participate in the women’s throw-ball matches to be held on the occasion. Over 30 teams from across the state will participate in the cultural competitions, he said.

Aprt from this, the Bar Association will also conduct several activities and programmes as part of anniversary celebrations till May.

Among those present at the press meet were Association vice-president Ashok Ariga P, joint secretary B Radha Rao and committee member K Ramakrishna Pai.
