Kundapur, Feb 15: A pedestrian woman was killed on the spot after being hit by a car at Chittur near Kollur here on Wednesday February 14.
The deceased woman has been identified as Sita (35), a resident of Chittur. She was going to work when she met with the accident. She was a colie worker. On Wednesday she was crossing the road at Chittur while going to work that a car speeding towards Kollur knocked her down.
As a result she sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The Kollur police have registered a case in this regard.
