'M'luru: VHP to organize Ramotsava from Mar 27 to 29

Mangaluru, Mar 21: It was revealed at a pressmeet held in the city on March 20 that VHP will be organizing a Ramotsava programme from March 27 to 29 at Central Stadium (Kendra Maidaana), Mangaluru.





Pushparaj Jain, president of the Ramotsava Samiti said, "As part of the 'Ramotsva' programme a Narthana Bajana competition will be held on March 27 at 3 pm. Winners will be awarded a cash prize. Interested groups can register their names by contacting Jagadeesh Shenava and Gopala Kuthar on their mobile numbers, 9448546026 and 9343201544 respectively."

"Ganga Sankalpa and Ganga Abhisheka will be held on March 28 at 10.30 am."

"Different sports competitions will be held on March 29. Interested groups can register their names with Umesh Jeppinamogaru, mobile number 9481915922."

Competitions for various school and college students will be held on the same day at 2 pm. Interested groups can register their names with Surekha Raj, mobile number 9901166103.

Ravana Dahana, Sudumaddu Pradarshana will be held on the same day at 8.45 pm.

On the occasion of the golden jublee of VHP, different programmes of Ramotsava will be conducted in every village from March 21 to April 5."

Professor M B Purani, honorary president, Manohar Suvarna, secretary Ramotsava Samiti, Jagadeesh Shenava, VHP district president, Gopal Kuthar VHP district secretary and Bujanga Kulal, convenor, Bajarangadal were present at the press meet.
